Kathmandu. Hello Government, an electronic portal launched to enable citizens to file complaints regarding the work and actions of government agencies and to address the complaints received promptly, has received 16,135 complaints in the fiscal year 2080-81.
Among the complaints received, the highest number of complaints are related to electricity. According to the annual report of the Auditor General, a total of 501 complaints related to electricity were received in FY 80-81. Out of which 434 complaints were resolved. Apart from this, 399 complaints related to road bridges were received in second place, 370 related to fraud, 349 related to problems on websites and 317 related to universities. In terms of institutional complaint details, the highest number of complaints were found to be related to the Police Headquarters, Nepal Electricity Authority, Road Department, Ministry of Home Affairs and Ministry of Health.
